Development & Education

Our Curriculum

Our curriculum combines the child-centred Reggio Emilia philosophy with evidence-based early childhood education practices. This approach values each child as curious, capable, and full of potential – encouraging exploration through play, experimentation, and inquiry. Educators guide learning through meaningful experiences that inspire creativity, problem-solving, and social-emotional growth. Through this balanced approach, children develop critical thinking, communication, and foundational academic skills, growing with confidence and curiosity every day.

Empowered Children’s Program & Academic
Enrichment Program

Our Empowered Children’s Program (ECP) and Academic Enrichment Program (AEP) work together to nurture the whole child – mind, body, and spirit – building confidence, curiosity, and emotional intelligence.

ECP explores brain development, trauma response, and emotional resilience through movement, mindfulness, and play. At its core is our Qigong for Children program, the first of its kind in Australia, helping children develop focus, self-awareness, and emotional balance, supported by storytelling and creative play.

AEP complements this by linking academic learning with cognitive development, strengthening literacy, numeracy, and problem-solving while nurturing creativity and critical thinking.

Together, these programs deliver a holistic approach to early education, supporting confident, capable, and well-rounded children.

Evidence
of Learning

Families are kept fully connected to their child’s journey through detailed development reporting and tools like the Story Path app. These resources provide clear insights into milestones, progress, and next steps, allowing families to celebrate achievements and understand how educators tailor learning experiences to each child’s unique pace, personality, and potential.

Our Environment

Every Play to Learn centre is architecturally and purposefully designed to provide a safe, healthy, and inspiring learning environment. Low-tox interiors, natural materials, ergonomic furniture, and flexible spaces create a calm, nurturing atmosphere where children can explore, create, and collaborate.

Indoor and outdoor areas are seamlessly connected, allowing children to engage with nature, move freely, and participate in activities that encourage creativity and social connection.

Our Nutritional Program

We are strong believers in “we are what we eat.” Each day, we provide freshly prepared, balanced meals to fuel growing bodies and active minds. Our nutritional program focuses on wholesome, seasonal ingredients that support children’s health, energy, and development.

Healthy eating is introduced in a fun and engaging way, helping children develop lifelong positive habits. A balanced, nutrient-rich diet nourishes both brain and body – improving focus, memory, mood, and energy levels throughout the day.

Our Daily Routine

Children thrive on rhythm and structure, which is why our daily routine carefully balances play, education , rest, creativity, and social interaction. Thoughtfully designed schedules provide time for exploration, group activities, quiet reflection, and active movement, helping children develop independence, confidence, and social skills within a secure and predictable environment.

By knowing what to expect, children grow in trust, resilience, and self-assurance. A program rich in varied experiences, supported by a consistent routine, allows them to explore all their skills and senses while fostering the confidence that drives their learning.
