At Play to Learn, your child’s safety and wellbeing are our highest priority. All educators receive comprehensive allergy and anaphylaxis training, and our cook is highly trained in allergy-safe food preparation. Children with allergies are always supported by educators wearing a designated allergy lanyard while seated with them during mealtimes. We also use colour-coded allergy bowls to ensure absolute safety. Every member of our team is first aid trained, and we work closely with families to create personalised allergy management plans that ensure every child feels safe, included, and cared for.

We proudly exceed NSW regulatory staff-to-child ratios by maintaining small, intimate classrooms — a hallmark of the Play to Learn difference. This ensures every child receives individualised attention and meaningful connections with educators. We also do not use agency casuals; instead, we roster additional off-floor staff daily who can step in when needed, ensuring consistency, safety, and quality care every day.

Our educators are among the most highly qualified in the sector, with most holding Diploma or Bachelor-level Early Childhood Education qualifications. Every Play to Learn centre is led by Early Childhood Teachers (ECTs) who run our signature Academic Enrichment Curriculum. Beyond formal qualifications, our educators receive continuous professional development through our Empowered Leadership Training and Empowered Children’s Program, ensuring they nurture both the academic and emotional growth of every child.

We welcome children from birth to 5 years, providing a nurturing, home-like environment that evolves with each developmental stage — from the wonder of infancy through to school readiness.

Joining Play to Learn begins with a personal tour or Discovery Play Session, where you can experience our environment and philosophy firsthand. Once you decide to join our Play to Learn family, you’ll be offered available days and sent a digital enrolment form to complete online. After your enrolment is confirmed, we invite you and your child to attend orientation sessions, ensuring a smooth and supported transition into our warm and welcoming community.

Our Academic Enrichment Program, designed and delivered by university-trained Early Childhood Teachers, sets children up for success well above developmental milestones. Beyond academics, our Empowered Children’s Program nurtures emotional intelligence, resilience, and social confidence — empowering children to recognise, express, and manage their emotions in a safe, non-judgemental environment. This holistic approach ensures children are not only school-ready but life-ready.

At Play to Learn, we document each child’s learning daily within our signature programs, tracking their progress across developmental milestones and academic benchmarks. Our educators use these insights to tailor learning experiences — providing enrichment for gifted learners and targeted support for those who need it. We also collaborate with external agencies and community specialists when required, ensuring every child receives the tools and encouragement they need to thrive.
